CONCORD PLACE has hosted many community events over the last 20 years, including the Dragon Boat Festival, Molson Indy, and Cirque du Soleil. At 300,000 sq ft, the Exposition and Activity Zone site is comparable in size to the old and new Vancouver Convention Centre sites combined. Located in the future development site of Concord Pacific Place, it’s adjacent to the 2010 game venues, home to Concord’s Presentation Centre and future host of Hockey Canada. It’s estimated that over 80,000 people a day will pass through the site during the games.
